Packaging
At MEDIUS we think inside and outside the box, using state-of-the-art die-cutting machinery to create custom packaging to your exact specifications. We specialize in custom packaging for medical devices, cosmetics, OTC medications, retail products, and POP displays.
We also offer prototype/mock sample development to help you achieve your product vision. Because we do everything in-house, our experienced team can work together to ensure consistent quality all the way from design prototyping through printing, cutting, folding, gluing, and final assembly.
DIE CUTTING
Precision Die Cutting ensures that the printed material is cut and scored to exact specifications so it folds properly. At MEDIUS, we create our own custom steel dies using specialized CAD software. Steel rules of different thickness and sharpness levels are used on the cutting die to allow for through-cutting, scoring, creasing, and perforating.
This enables us to control every step of the process and accommodate even the most complex and creative packaging designs.
FOLDING AND GLUING
MEDIUS provides Folding and Gluing for a wide range of materials including paper, cardstock, plastic, solid board, and corrugated board.
It only seems like magic when we take sheets of flat 2-D materials and transform them into finished 3-D cartons, envelopes, and promotional packages! In fact, our folder/gluer machines have sophisticated controls and use specially positioned guides and hooks to fold blanks along creased lines and then apply (and cure) a strong cold-glue or hot-melt adhesive to hold the finished shape together.
Using the strictest quality control standards, our Quality Assurance team will conduct regular audits to ensure that all finished packaging conforms to your original specifications.
